Whether you’re writing copy for yourself, your employer, or your clients, a copy word bank is an essential, must-have resource to have on hand.

Word banks can help you get unstuck when you’re feeling like the words just aren’t flowing, and they can help you stay true to your brand voice and personality. (Just realized you’re not clear on your brand voice? I got you, create your brand voice chart and download the brand personality workbook.)

The best part about your bank is there’s nothing fancy about it and it’s easy to add to when inspiration strikes. Just pop open a Google doc and you’re ready to get started!

I love creating word banks for my clients who are about to launch so that all their future content and promotional materials (social media captions, ad copy, landing page CTAs, blog posts, product descriptions, you name it!) are as close to “copy and paste” as you can get.

Start building your own copy word bank by following the categories below!
