Director Dos Donts

 Copy Turn-Ons as The Director:

  • You prefer short, concise copy. A paragraph longer than 2-3 sentences is likely to get skimmed over.

  • You tend to focus on headers. If they appeal to you you’ll read the body copy underneath. Otherwise, you’ll skim your way to the next header and repeat.

  • The most effective copy for you focuses on the “What” not the “Why”.

  • You love being presented with data, facts, or quantitative testimonials (Ex: “Customer X saw 200% growth after implementing this course…)

  • You’re attracted to messaging points that prove expertise or guarantee a return on investment.

  • You appreciate when copy is broken up into sections using bullet points or special formatting.

  • You rely on logo banners, or stats roundups to demonstrate a business’ expertise.
